
Alex Coultrup, M.S.
Satellite Servicing + Commercial Space Policy
Alex Coultrup serves as Director of Business and Policy at Starfish Space, where she’s working toward the future of affordable, accessible satellite servicing. She focuses on the commercial economics of autonomous robotic interaction in Low Earth Orbit, and engaging with the policy environment for consensual and cooperative on-orbit servicing operations.
She earned her Master’s degree from Florida Institute of Technology, where she focused on Space Policy and Microgravity Human-Centered Design. Alex has interned at the CSIS Aerospace Security Project, was a Fellow at the XPRIZE Foundation, and most recently came from Nanoracks, where she worked on the Starlab Commercial LEO Destinations program.

Outside of work, she serves as deputy director of the Matthew Isakowitz Commercial Space Scholarship, a non-profit designed to select and place exceptional students passionate about the space industry in policy and regulatory-focused internships at commercial space companies in the DC Metro Area.
